Curriculum fran\u00e7ais, ouverture internationale, le Lyc\u00e9e International<\/a> de Londres Winston Churchill, inaugur\u00e9 par Fran\u00e7ois Hollande en septembre 2015, allie excellence acad\u00e9mique \u00e0 la fran\u00e7aise et innovation p\u00e9dagogique. Situ\u00e9 \u00e0 Wembley Park, il privil\u00e9gie la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 et le travail collaboratif pour ses \u00e9l\u00e8ves. Il vient d’obtenir la mention Good au dernier rapport OFSTED datant de mars 2019.<\/p>\n

L’\u00e9tablissement propose depuis la rentr\u00e9e 2018 un double cursus.<\/p>\n

Le Programme Fran\u00e7ais (French Curriculum) est enseign\u00e9 en deux langues<\/strong> de la grande section de maternelle \u00e0 la Terminale.<\/p>\n

Le projet p\u00e9dagogique pr\u00e9pare les enfants d\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e2ge de 3 ans (ouverture de la Petite et Moyenne Section de Maternelle en Septembre 2020) aux dipl\u00f4mes suivants : Baccalaur\u00e9at Fran\u00e7ais ou OIB (Option Internationale du Baccalaur\u00e9at).<\/p>\n

L\u2019introduction de l\u2019anglais se fait d\u00e8s les ann\u00e9es primaires avec une parit\u00e9 horaire et deux enseignants natifs anglais et fran\u00e7ais, l\u2019objectif \u00e9tant d\u2019amener les enfants francophones rentr\u00e9s en d\u00e9but de cycle au bilinguisme \u00e0 l\u2019issue du primaire.<\/p>\n

Les classes de secondaire offrent un enseignement bilingue variable en fonction des niveaux (en moyenne 40% en anglais, 60% en fran\u00e7ais), les cours \u00e9tant toujours dispens\u00e9s par des professeurs enseignant dans leur langue maternelle.<\/p>\n

En Premi\u00e8re et Terminale, en fonction de l\u2019option choisie par l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve (Baccalaur\u00e9at ou OIB), la langue d\u2019enseignement est adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 la langue d\u2019examen pour chaque mati\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

L’English International Programme dispens\u00e9 exclusivement en langue anglaise<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 ouvert pour les Year 7 et Year 8 \u00e0 la rentr\u00e9e 2019. Les niveaux sup\u00e9rieurs seront ouverts au fur et \u00e0 mesure de la mont\u00e9e de la cohorte correspondante; Il m\u00e8ne au passage de l’IB Diploma pour lequel l’\u00e9cole a obtenu son accr\u00e9ditation.<\/p>\n

De nombreux projets \u00e0 l’initiative des professeurs ou de la Direction (1er Festival Lyc\u00e9en du Film Francophone, Voyages culturels ou engagement b\u00e9n\u00e9vole des \u00e9l\u00e8ves aupr\u00e8s de diff\u00e9rentes Charities dans le monde entier, Invitation \u00e0 l’ONU…) ouvrent les \u00e9l\u00e8ves sur le monde et les pr\u00e9parent \u00e0 un engagement citoyen ou associatif.<\/p>\n

Le Lyc\u00e9e propose \u00e9galement des Discovery Classes et des After School sportives, artistiques ou  techniques qui permettent d’enrichir le cursus acad\u00e9mique.<\/p>\n

Destin\u00e9 aux parents qui souhaitent allier l\u2019excellence acad\u00e9mique du programme scolaire fran\u00e7ais \u00e0 une approche culturelle internationale. Le Lyc\u00e9e international de Londres Winston Churchill propose des m\u00e9thodes p\u00e9dagogiques novatrices s\u2019appuyant sur la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9, le travail collaboratif, la diff\u00e9renciation et l\u2019autonomie. Une part importante est r\u00e9serv\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation d\u2019outils p\u00e9dagogiques modernes, chaque \u00e9l\u00e8ve du secondaire dispose de son propre Ipad. Le bien-\u00eatre de l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve et son ouverture sur le monde sont \u00e9galement mis en avant.
