R\u00e9sidentiel et tr\u00e8s calme, c\u2019est un quartier entour\u00e9 de verdure. Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, plusieurs familles fran\u00e7aises et europ\u00e9ennes y ont \u00e9lu domicile, attir\u00e9es par la proximit\u00e9 du Lyc\u00e9e International de Londres Winston Churchill<\/a>, \u00e0 10mns de m\u00e9tro en direct. Ils constituent une communaut\u00e9 soud\u00e9e agr\u00e9able \u00e0 int\u00e9grer. On trouve dans le quartier de jolies maisons familiales avec jardin \u00e0 r\u00e9nover pour des prix restant raisonnables. Les opportunit\u00e9s de location sont plus rares, ces quartiers r\u00e9sidentiels \u00e9tant essentiellement peupl\u00e9s de propri\u00e9taires occupant leur propre maison, mais on peut y d\u00e9nicher des opportunit\u00e9s int\u00e9ressantes. Derri\u00e8re les rues bord\u00e9es d’arbres, on retrouve quelques parcs agr\u00e9ables qui font l’agr\u00e9ment du quartier.<\/p>\n

Le quartier situ\u00e9 autour de la garde attire par son animation, on y trouve de nombreux commerces (M&S, Debenhams, TK Max\u2026) regroup\u00e9s notamment autour des deux principaux centres commerciaux, St Anns et St George, mais \u00e9galement un r\u00e9seau de petits commerces ind\u00e9pendants qui cr\u00e9ent une atmosph\u00e8re r\u00e9sidentielle et un sens de la communaut\u00e9. L’\u00e9norme atout de Harrow on the Hill, c’est sa situation sur la Metropolitan Line avant sa jonction, avec un acc\u00e8s direct et fr\u00e9quent \u00e0 St Pancras. On y trouve \u00e9galement un acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019Overground et plusieurs lignes de train, ce qui en fait une banlieue tr\u00e8s bien desservie.<\/p>\n

Proche de la gare, les rues r\u00e9sidentielles sont agr\u00e9ables, accueillant une population m\u00e9lang\u00e9e de middle class.\u00a0En revanche, dans la partie Village autour de l’\u00e9cole et vers la colline, l’atmosph\u00e8re est r\u00e9solument bourgeoise. On est plus loin des transports, mais les rues les plus hupp\u00e9es accueillent leur lot de millionnaires attir\u00e9s par l’atmosph\u00e8re village si typiquement anglaise.<\/p>\n
